It’s my biggest announcement of the year–the upcoming Winter/Spring 2018 sessions of my (now 15-year-old) Creative Nonfiction workshop (both sections, in Davis and Sacramento), and my (now five-year-old) online, cross-genre workshop Scribe Lab are open for registration.
For the first time, both workshops will be centered on the same theme: writings of wonder and resistance. I can think of few questions more worth our attention right now than how to connect our internal sources of inspiration and trouble and our public/collective powers as meaning-makers.
The Davis section of CNF meets Tuesday nights 6:30-8:30 PM, January 9-June 26. The Sacramento section meets Wednesday nights 6:30-8:30 PM, January 10-June 27.
The eleventh (!) session of SCRIBE LAB kicks off January 1st and lasts clear through the end of June 2018.
Want to register for one of these workshops?–drop me an email at rgouirand [at] gmail [dot] com to request the registration form for the group you’re interested in. I wholeheartedly encourage you not to wait until the last minute to register, as all of these groups tend to fill. The registration deadline for all: 12/20/17.
As always, all my very very best to all of you. It is my deepest hope that 2018 will find each and every one of us ushering in the new world page after page after page.
